The Hayek’s have over 25 years of experience in building homes, making friends, and sharing in the growth of the Cedar Valley. Norm Hayek Construction, the firm and the family, have grown to be a part of the community. They share in the hard work it takes to build a great community, and they share in the joys that come with a job well done.
In 1978, in the Tama Toledo area of Iowa, a young couple, Norm and Doreen Hayek were married. Their union also marked the formal beginning of Norm Hayek Construction.
Over the next 11 years, The Hayek’s built over 50 homes in the surrounding communities. In 1989, along with their daughters, Chelsea and Charity, Norm & Doreen moved to the Cedar Valley.
